ORGANISATION:

To musically talented children choir singing offers an opportunity to spend quality free time. By performing the compositions of different musical genres young singers not only get to know the jewels of world music heritage, but also the cultures and traditions of other nations and the music of our time, from pop and jazz to avant-garde.  

The Choir School CS has got several departments:

  • Children choir PU (age 7-10)
  • Children choir Junior CS (age 9-12)
  • Choir Secunde CS (age 11-14)
  • Solo singing and vocal technique
  • Music theory (departments: Quavers, Crotchets, Minims, Semibreves, Prime, Secunde)
  • Choregie: drama, percussion, movement techniques, relaxation techniques, folk instruments, diction

 

 

Each singer feels a secret giving and receiving, an asserting of oneself and a renouncing of oneself; it is a perceiving of oneself as an indispensable part of a whole and a perceiving of the whole in oneself - a part. Each and every song, be it the Maori Tutira mai or Lebič’s Poletje, expresses this with a high technical and artistic value.
